Christopher Lawrence – Whatever You Dream at #12 on Beatport chart

Christopher Lawrence returns with the follow up to his Top 20 single The Dark which is a Featured Release on Beatport’s psy trance front page and is #12 and still climbing the charts.

Whatever You Dream is a hybrid of the underground trance and psy trance sound championed by Christopher Lawrence that is taking the underground scene by storm. The Dark was a massive crossover track with major DJ support by from Bryan Kearney, Indecent Noise, John “00” Fleming and more. This new release builds on that momentum demonstrating Christopher Lawrence knows what it takes to rock a dance floor. He has developed his own unique sound that is captured in Whatever You Dream – a rolling bass, biting acid lines and plenty of head candy.

Turning in a blinder of a psy trance remix is Mechanimal aka Nick Sagar-House whose debut artist album Inertia was released to critical acclaim this year. He is known for his impeccable production skills in the studio and his tracks are regularly featured on Christopher Lawrence’s Rush Hour radio show. Mechanimal’s remix is spot on with his signature fat funky bass line and twisted melodies.

Next up on remix duties is the Greek DJ and production team known as Active Limbic System. George Tripas and Michalis Patakas have only been producing together for a few years but are already making a mark for themselves. Active Limbic System reinvents the original, giving Whatever You Dream a deeper but no less energetic groove. What really makes this remix stand out is the addition of an ominous melody line in the breakdown that continues through the track.

Support from Airwave, Angry Man, Bryan Kearney, CBM, Fergie & Sadrian, Fido X, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Indecent Noise, Johan Ekman, Kaeno, Lisa Lashes, M.I.K.E, Magnus, Manuel Le Saux, Misja Helsloot, Nick Callaghan, Phil Taylor, Robert Vadney, Seven Ways, Signum, Splattered Implant, Talla 2XLC, and many more.

Out exclusively on Beatport.
